Mike studied design and photography in college, where his first commercial was a PSA for sex education featuring a banana and a condom (it did not make his reel).

From there, he studied filmmaking and comedy by shadowing (and hopefully only slightly annoying) every director and actor he worked with while in the agency world.

His love of comedy, improv, and writing helps to define his characters and uncover the lovingly rendered human absurdity in their stories.

He’s been fortunate enough to tell some funny stories for Google, KeyBank, Toyota, Honda, Quilted Northern, Canon, the Irish, Georgia, N.C., and Maryland Lotteries, just to name a few.

His work has been recognized by The One Show, The Webby Awards, and the ICAD Awards (Ireland) as well as being featured in Lurzer’s Archive, Fast Company, Campaign, and Adweek.
